COMESSA,
RECOGNIZED EXPERIENCE
For optimized solutions

Since its creation in 1920, COMESSA has specialised in the design and manufacturing of industrial equipment combining thermal, aeraulic, mechanical and hydraulic processes.

COMESSA - (Société des Constructions Mécaniques de Schiltigheim-Strasbourg SA) in full - was created in 1920. Initially, it concentrated on producing machinery for the textile industry; its current area of specialisation has been developed since 1945.

COMESSA is appreciated internationally for the quality of its equipment and service in the chemical, food and mineral industries, and for decades has been a leading player in the thermal processing of solids material, particularly in the fields of industrial Drying, Calcining, and gas/solid Reactions. COMESSA bases the solutions it proposes on extensive former experimentation or following tests in its test center, and works in close collaboration with its clients, so that the solutions it offers are always adapted to their requirements.

The structure of the company is based on a team of engineers and technicians who are experts in both chemical and mechanical engineering; they are active from the stage of defining the processes right up to the moment of commissioning the plants and after-sales service. Fabrication is in the hands of a global network of sub-contractors, which provides a high level of flexibility for deliveries.

Since 1999, COMESSA has operated as an independent company, and has a strong presence in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

COMESSA is certified Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Societal Responsibility  Management System standards, according to:
